We just installed a used tranny in a 99 silverado. It came in almost out, I mean resting on 1/4 inch of the torque converter. He stripped out the bolts that hold the coverter to flywheel. He even had the exhaust manifolds removed! I guess he needed more room, ... Login to read more.
