Who can tell me what's acceptable versus not when I look up the specs in Mitchell? For a VW 1.9, it states to use 505.01, ACEA B3/B4 (?), SAE 5w40 or if not available SAE 5w30 or 0w40. Apparently I could grab any plain 5w30 so I have to wonder where these spec... Login to read more.
