had that happen to me..put a fuel pump in an OLD cherokee ( engine mounted)...long story short..I bought a POS cherokee because I NEGLECTED to state that "customer installed own fuel filter"...the fire originated @ the fuel filter....nice to have insurance. IF... Login to read more.
