Hi Hal

GM tsb 00-06-01-012 dated May 2000 says not to use any bristle disc when cleaning gasket surface.

I can't remember the model, but I got an updated seal or gasket from chrysler that instructs tech to use a bristle disc to clean gaske... Login to read more.
