I am surprised that would be a recommendation on rear drum brakes. I wouldn't argue that 3/32" bonded on disc brakes is a reasonable time to suggest replacement, but certainly not critical. 2/32" is the state inspection limit for bonded lining in Pa. I believe... Login to read more.
