Re: Engine blew on test drive
Not sure about the engine in question but many newer engines are using the powdered metal rods. They may be more susceptable(?) to breakage. I saw one broke on a 3.8L that apparently sucked in a big gulp of antifreeze through a leaking intake gasket. The hydro... Login to read more. ![]()
