I did look in Aldata and there is a TSB # 00-05-22-002D and it states that brake rotors are covered on 99-04 GM cars and trucks for 3 years 36,000 miles with certian exclusions. I think the pads will be on his dime. I wasn't aware of this before, but... Login to read more.
