That's a very good point Rich. Personally I'd never drive 12,000 miles on any oil. I change oil at 2,500 on everything I own. Even then it's dirty. I'm sure the 12,000 mile oil is also dirty at 1,500 miles. Also, how many filters are still good at 12,000 miles... Login to read more.
