| 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L Poor Idle Quality, Surge, Cuts out, Misfire VIN: 1FMZU63K53 Runs rough at idle, under load it backfires, and will shut off, hard to restart. Could the timing chain have slack and possibly jumped time. Customer stated he was driving the vehicle and it shut off. He towed it home and started replacing parts. Trouble codes: P0174 |

| 2009 Ford Explorer Limited 4.0L transmission VIN: 1FMEU75E39 we performed a series of diagnostic steps per Movaris transmissions whom we purchased reman. from and they determined the solenoid pack to be faulty and i replaced it to still have same problem. we then installed another reman. and all is good now. |
