| 2001 BMW X5 3.0i 3.0L Excessive Emissions, Poor Idle Quality, Hesitation, Surge, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: WBAFA53541 After checking the vanos system and chain to make sure they were in line I removed the timing cover to find the timing had skipped. Of course when this happened the intake valves were bent. I had to install new valves and timing set. I still have yet to figure... Trouble codes: 12 (exhaust Cam sensor out of range). |
