| 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat 7.3L No Start VIN: 3FTNX21F31 ok comrades, had this towed in, no start. scan found p1668. did injector buzz test: scan tool could not perform test and returned a "no comm" error. checked v/covers and ICP for the common shorts. (even the IPR wire insulation was ok!) tested the circuits bet... Trouble codes: P1668 (Pcm-idm diagnostic comm error) |

| 2001 Ford F-150 Lariat 5.4L Unknown VIN: 2FTRX18L61 Thanks for all the replies. It turned out to be the coil connector that had been replaced two years ago had been connected with reverse polarity. Evidently the ECM finally had enough and took a leap. Correcting the wiring and replacing the ECM fixed it. |
