Thanks to everyone for all your help. Finally found the problem, it ended up being a bad diode. Only explanation we can come to is possibly the ac compressor had gone bad previously and fried the diode, but was never found before the accident.

Again I want to thank everyone for taking the time to help out and lend ideas. Lots of very clever people on here, and thatís why we come here. In the end I replaced just the front O2 sensor. (not a Air Fuel sensor) FYI: California cars have AF sensor...
