| 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor XLS 3.8L delayed engagement VIN: 4A4MN31S04 after the advice here and consulting a trusted colleague from a local tranny shop, it was deemed the trans had to be pulled for further diag- wasn't interesting in doing it so it was sent off without repair.
