| 2003 Chevrolet Malibu LS 3.1L Hesitation, Surge VIN: 1G1NE52JX3 This was a more straight forward fix than I expected. I initially thought the MAF was bad and was surprised when the car ran worse when it was disconnected. Alas, the exhaust 'flow' that I was getting was not enough under load. We found that when he washed his wheel wells that the computer on the fender had cracked wire's and were getting wet. Repaired wire's and could not get problem to repeat.
