| 1995 Mercury Sable GS 3.8L Poor Idle Quality, Cuts out VIN: 1MELM504XS A combination of wrong spark plugs, a bad idle speed control motor, and the timing was off by 20 degrees (either by vehicle owner or last shop that tried to fix it). Car runs smooth!!! Thanks for all your help. Trouble codes: 116 (ect out of range), 211 (profile ignition pickup circuit failure), 213 (spark output circuit open). |
