| 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLS 4.0L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FMZU67K24 It is indeed possible to set the cam timing on a 4.0 liter SOHC motor without the OEM type tool set. Found TDC marks on harmonic ballancer, indexed cams with a piece of square stock ( a lot like the ZTech motor cam system ). Found bank 1 cam was retarded about...
