1992 Ford Ranger 2.3L MIL Lamp on, code 222 & 998
Turns out that the 998 code was caused by the VPWR or B+ power at the crank sensor was shorting out at the sensor causeing the PIP signal to be different enough to not be the same as the IDM signal at the DIS modual causeing the code 222 ignition code. Replace... Trouble codes: 998 (hard fault code KOER), 222 (right side coil IDM low KOER). |
