Special thanks to mark, scott and jacob, the fix was the tsb for the updated pcm and fuel pressure regulator. The problem was we just tried first a new fuel pressure regulator then when that did not fix it we ordered up the pcm/fuel pressure regulator kit, but... Trouble codes: P0300 (random misfire detected), P0301 (cylinder 1 misfire detected), P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire detected), P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire detected), P0305 (cylinder 5 misfire detected). |

2001 Honda Insight 1.0L dies
Yes this car is fixed. The battery nor the Ignition switch were bad. The problem was the pcm. We disconnected the 12volt battery and touched the battery cables together which reset the PCM. reconnected battery and the car runs fine. |
