I have since pushed this vehicle outside to tackle other headaches and will return to this with a used trans as my specialist advised me of an internal leak in the trans. upon dissassembly I will update. Thank you all.

2003 Dodge Dakota SLT 5.9L Engine VIN: 1D7HG48Z63
Customer has decided to live with the problem till spring or untill it gets worse.Had several reports of heads cracking but mostly on older models.Will not know for sure till we tear it down. Thanks to all who were kind enough to reply.
