2006 Honda Pilot 3.5L engine
As the engine gets to operating temperature, I get a very
noticeable loud tick noise. I cannot pinpoint exactly where
the noise originates from, it can be heard in the oil pan

Well, I found the reason for the discrepancy in wiring diagrams and the vehicle I am working on. Seems there was a bulletin where you ganged each bank of injectors and eliminated the extra 2 wires of the unused injector feeds. This means that the injectors now... Thanks for the replys. We ended up having the engine rebuilt, the rings and cylinder walls were trashed. The customer tried to get Nissan to replace it, they wouldn't. They said its only covered 04 and up. Nissan covered the catalytic converter. |
