Well it wound up being the DM module. We paid to go on the MB tech support line, $14 for 24 hours. On the tech line the diagrams are easy to follow and on the pin out tests they give you what reading should be at each pin. We had a tn signal going into the DM ... Trouble codes: D1, 17 (crank position sensor open short circuit), EA, 160 (engine speed rpm signal tna), TRAC (160 can bus to ea control mod n41 interrupted).		 4
