I was unable to get to the bottom of this problem, scoped sensors which transmission uses for inputs and all are good. The intermittent condition is gone now and car runs fine. If it comes back and I find something new I will update. |

1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L 2-3 shift
We removed the transmission and dissambled to find 3rd gear sprag broken so we figure thats why we did not find any slipage or pressure drop when 3rd was commanded. Still can't explain why no gear ratio or shift codes. Thanks to all for their thoughts. |
