2000 Dodge Pickup 5.9L low power
First of all thanks for all the help from everyone. The problem ended up being a bad new o2 sensor. Readings were fine in the shop but driving it the o2 went to 0 and stayed. I could not prove a vacuum leak or a fuel supply problem so I tried a nother sensor. ... Trouble codes: p0171 (testing and results). |

We removed The heads And sent then To machine Shop the Valves were sticking . Shop said heavy carbon buildup on valves making them not close Easy. We put heads back on And All Is Well.

Thanks to all the several replies! At this time the customer didn't want to put any money into the vehicle, so I did not perform enough disassembly to pinpoint the problem. The vehicle is on it's way for now until it gets worse or it's traded off. |
