| 2001 Ford AUFalcon XR8 5.0L Poor Idle Quality, Surge, Misfire VIN: JGSWAAA123 After all the stuffing around the, fix ended up being the reluctor on the back of the harmonic balancer was 10 degrees out and causing the surging, replaced the balancer, re, realigned the cmp, and all is fine. Trouble codes: P0340 (Camshaft Position Sensor). |
