2000 Honda Civic 1.6L Surge, Cuts out
during high engine rpm 5k to 8k, without cat or (burned
out)this engine spools up to 8k without hesitation. no
surge no resistance to accelerate. when new cat is
installed (factory honda) the engine lacks power and surges
when trying to accelerate past 5k rpm.... Trouble codes: p0420 (inefficient cat). |

1991 Toyota Camry 2.0L Starting
this is an intermittent crank, but no start. when cranking,
i have spark, fuel pressure, fuel injector pulse. vacuum at
cranking is about 4"hg. checked timing at cranking and

Thanks to everybody for the excellent responses!!! I waited until this customer drove the car for a while (and the MIL stayed off) before closing my post. Many techs (Rod [...], Dan [...], Mark [...] among them) pointed toward the vacuum transducer or... Trouble codes: P0401 (EGR Flow Insufficient). |

1981 Nissan 280ZX 2.8L Poor Idle Quality
