Extremely bazaar one here. Which probably means it’s a bad
ECU…….but
Drive the car for no more than a mile or two and it bucks
once and the CEL comes on. Still runs fine till 3000 RPM
then it bucks over and over any time the RPM is over 3000.

with fingers to confirm valve is working. All seems ok.

2002 Toyota Sienna 3.0L Misfire, MIL Lamp on
This one has me stumped. It is definitely misfiring and it
shows on the Toyota scanner. The STFT on bank 2 is -20% at
idle and -5% to -6% at 2500 rpm. Bank 1 trims are near 0.
The plugs show signs of over fueling. The Bank 2 VVT never

1997 Mazda 626 2.0L Poor Idle Quality
i do not normaly work on mazdas. when i took the iac out to clean did not notice the little spring that goes on the solinoid side of the plunger. pushed the car out to work on another car and saw spring reinstalled and all is ok. Trouble codes: p1506 (idel over speed). |

Thanks again to any responses that you gave us. The Idle Air Control valve was the problem, we rechecked the PIDs and saw a problem with them especially cold. Replaced the valve and problem solved. I had never seen this but that is what keeps up the excitement... |
