1997 Mercedes-Benz E420 4.2L Hesitation
Engine shaking badly at idle. Tested and replaced #7
ignition coil and idled fine. Found that on accel from stop
there was no power until rpm's came up and then came in.
Cleared previous codes and drove a number of drive cycles.
There are no codes now. Install... Trouble codes: P0410 (Secondary air injection malfunction), P0300 (Misfiring Damages TWC), P0307 (Misfiring of cylinder 7 damages TWC). |

Much thanks to all that replied. It did turn out to be just the crank sensor. Replaced it with a new one and car drove great. Even though it ohm out good it was still bad. Thank you everyone!! Trouble codes: P0321 (Engine speed sensor implausible signal), P0322 (engine speed sensor no signal). |
