| 1997 Ford F-150 Lariat 4.6L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTDX1764V This vehicle came in with a plugged EGR port at the intake. The valve also some contained carbon deposits. We cleared the maniflod and replaced the EGR valve with a Ford factory unit. Testing the EGR by applying vacuum caused the engine to lope so we now know ... Trouble codes: P1408, P0401 |

| 2001 Ford E-150 Econoline 4.2L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FTRE14201 When I got this the mil light is on with code po 171 and po 174 Fuel pressure is good so I immediately check for vacuum leaks with a propane sniffer and checked the manifold as well as the pcv connections and found no leaks, Even used carb cleaner but no leaks... | 2001 Ford Escape XLS 3.0L Poor Idle Quality, Cuts out, Stall VIN: 1FMYU02T01 finally got the vehicle in with temps below 30 f . ran rough for almost five minutes and found air leaking under intake. replaced gaskets and it ran fine this morning at 28 f. don't know why the problem won't occur over 40f. but it is fixed. | 2001 Ford Focus LX 2.0L overcharge VIN: 1FMYU32RG3 ok guys, this ones fixed. A fellow technician had installed the alternator and also installed a new plug to the regulator. In the process, he miswired it and that was the problem. Found it when I tried to check continuity between the alternator and pcm. Thanks... |
