| 1998 Ford Windstar GL 3.8L Torque Conv. Lockup VIN: 2FMDA5142W The fix is in. It turned out to be cross bleeding pressure within the valve body. Replacing the transmission cured the vehicle. Very odd behavior, but thats automotive for ya! Thanks to all that sent us some leads. |

The ports on this motor were recently cleaned as it had a misfire problem in the past. It has also gone through 2 sets of cats. All these 4.2 handi vans seem to...
