| 1999 Ford Ranger XL 3.0L MIL Lamp on Customer states that MIL light comes on whenever they put ethanol in this thing. Run straight gas it is ok, put ethanol init and it trips the check engine light. Sorry, I forgot what the code is. But, Has anyone seen this before on a flex fuel vehicle? |

| 2000 Lincoln LS 3.9L Cuts out, Misfire, MIL Lamp on VIN: 1LNHM98A6Y After much further testing we have narrowed it down to the cylinder head temperature sensor. We get erattic readings from the sensor at different temperatures and freeze frame data on the scantool. Sorry for such a long wait but the customer was not responding... Trouble codes: P1285 (cylinder head overtemp sensed), P1299 (cylinder head overtemp protect active). |

| 2002 Mercury Cougar 2.5L Hesitation, Surge, Cuts out, Stall, Misfire VIN: 1ZWFT61L82 after fuel pump replaced customer felt that it acted up one time at which point i posted help request. as of to date vehicle is running good no further problems. i received 3 replys thanks for taking your time to respond. joe |
