We have replaced the EGR valve--- Ohm'd out the wires to the VCM from the EGR (all OK)-- Still have P1406 reseting after a few test drives-- Camshaft position sensor reads -1 to 0 degrees (normal range is + or - 2 degrees) No plug wires run close to the wirin... 2001 Pontiac Aztek 3.4L MIL Lamp on VIN: 3G7DA03E01
I haven't repaired the Pontiac yet, had it in the shop for 10 minutes 2 weeks ago. I pulled the temp connector to check the connection, clean and tighten it up. Still have the same problem. I'm getting the car back in the shop for some time to work on it next ... Trouble codes: P0128 (Coolant temp problem), P1189 (oil pressure problem).
