| 1986 Toyota MR2 GT 1.6L cooling fans VIN: 1J2AW15C5G cooling fan system, relays ,fuses all function properly.from what i can determine from the limited info our data base has the fans are controled by the ac amplifier. replaced the amplifier but fans still run on high with key on.what am i missing? |

| 1994 Toyota Pickup DLX 2.4L mil off VIN: JT4RN93P8R Well, replaced the VSS and drove the Pickup for about 40 miles and rechecked for codes and guess what code 42 reappears. Maybe I got a bad sensor? I guess I will close this one. Thanks for all the input, basically everyone said the VSS is a common failure but ... Trouble codes: 42 (Vehicle Speed Sensor). |
