| 1996 Ford Windstar GL 3.8L MIL Lamp on VIN: 2FMDAS140T This Windstar failed an OBD II emission test. Prior to the lean codes I cleaned the EGR ports that were clogged. | 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.0L MIL Lamp on VIN: 1FMZU34E2X Thanks for all the replies, I changed the intake gaskets, (upper and lower) cleared the computer memory and put it through a drive cycle to reset all the flags. LT trim dropped to +2% and I'm happy enough with that. I suspected the intake gaskets to begin with... Trouble codes: P0171 (system too lean bank 1), P0174 (system too lean bank 2). |
