We found a tsb on this whitch had u replace the intake gasket the left valve cover and the vacuum line for the fuel regulator.... Trouble codes: P0171, P0174. |

| 1994 Mercury Sable GS 3.0L trans VIN: 1MELM50U8R took trans apart and found cracked aluminum forward clutch piston. I will replace with a new steel one. I won't get around to this for a few weeks, but I wanted to post the cause of the problem. In short, thanks everybody for the help! |
