Bearing Numbers

This falls into the "Good to know" category.

Some part numbering systems actually have a rhyme or reason like Ford's. Well, I thought I would pass along today's tips on standard bearing numbers.

One tip, if you take the last 2 digits of the bearing number and multiply them by 5, that will give you the bearing's bore size.

You never know when this might come in handy. In the transmission business, it's mighty handy.
