I ask you all this question in a "please justify the reasoning" format. For example, I use a plasma cutter and I know there are consumables on the tool. Namely the tip and electrode, I consider this a given. But what I ask all of you is if you feel that a Snap-On bladder style pressure bleeder adapter can also be considered a consumable. If so, then how?

My Snap-On dealer, who I assume located a replacement adapter, stated it was just a consumable. !WTH!

Please, someone enlighten me on just how a wrench from the same company is not considered a consumable, but the adapter is... Oh, and yes it's not inexpensive, but neither was the second pressure bleeder I bought from Snap-On a few years back.
