Re: What shop software is the best to use?
Kenny, I went through this about 4 years ago. I can tell you like other will that you need to decide what features are important to you and then go from there. I decided then that I did not want the ongoing monthly subscription payments. I wanted to own the program when the initial costs were done if I so chose to stop there. I also did not want to be dependent on an internet connection to conduct business. The area I am in has been known to drop out every now and then. I also was expecting some sort of annual payment for support and updates if I wished to go that way. I was also looking for a parts inventory system as well as a system overall that I could grow into. I am using Winworks Autosoft. It has been a very good program for me. They are very good with support and help. Pricing and annual costs are very reasonable in my opinion. Check them out at http://winworks.com. But like most will tell you, try the systems that interest you and then don't forget to look at the long term costs of use as well as what they do for your shop. As with any system it will take some time to see the results. They definitely are not an overnight wonder! Good luck on your search and let us know what you end up on!
