What shop software is the best to use?
Posted to Shop Management Forum on 10/27/2013 21 Replies

I have had my shop open for over seven months now and I feel like I may be leaving a lot on the table as far as follow ups and getting the customer back in for recommended work. I am using quick books and it is OK but I feel that it lacks in many areas there is just a ton of shop software out there to use. Anyone have inputs on the best? the worse? why not chose one over the other I am just a one man band at this point and there is a lot of time wasted with quick books! Any input would be great I did look into RO Writer but with such a large price tag I need to make sure it is the right move. I did download a demo of repair writer 4 and it seems like it has the features that I need.
