Yes, there is, but it's a lot more money $160+. However, it
DOES include the shop manual as well. The new 6th edition
covers principles and theory of operation of CVTs and linear
solenoids in much greater detail.
The reason I was pushing the 3rd edition was for its
affordability. For $15 bucks how can a guy go wrong? Right?
If somebody really likes the 3rd edition that much, then
they can dive in head first and upgrade to the 6th edition
if the they want. -OR- If they feel they are pretty sure
they want to learn theory and principles of operation, then
go for the gusto and just order the 6th edition right up
front. Either, or... you're going to like it. It all depends
on how much you want to invest.
