| 2004 Jaguar XJ8 4.2L No Start, Poor Idle Quality, Cuts out, MIL Lamp on So I found that even though I had duty cycle on the command wire, the wire was shorted to ground causing the pump to run at full speed, repaired the wire and the fuel pressure is back down within normal range.
