Thanks for the help, I found the truck finally gave a P0605 internal pcm failure after numerous tries for codes, but it would only show up if you ran KOER test while it was failing. Replaced the PCM & left the motorcraft alternator on & truck never failed agai... Trouble codes: P0622.
