I pulled it and found the front oil seal to the intake lifter port was split and the plastic surround was cracked. | 2011 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 5.3L engine block valley cover VIN: 1GNSKJE39B Since also found the oil cooler line/hose assembly wet/leaking, customer decided to replace the line/hose assembly and monitor oil leak improvement. Will return vehicle for disassembly and further repair if leak continues to be enough of an issue. Will update ... |
