| 2006 Ford Crown Victoria LX 4.6L Surge, jerking VIN: 2FDFP74W46 Moisture was getting down the coil boots and causing a misfire. Installed a set of MSD coils and boots and the problem went away. How I found the problem was hooked up IDS scantool and watched the power balance while lightly spraying water on/near the coils.... |

His explanation of the system along with recordings of correct signal patterns made this an easy fix. Trouble codes: B1600, B1602. |
