1996 Chevrolet C1500 Cheyenne 5.0L MIL Lamp on
Students are working on a vehicle that failed an OBDII
emission test. The P1406A Code sets consistently. Like an
EEC IV Ford, the EGR position sensor reports open at idle.
The EGR Valve has been replaced to no effect.
