1999 Ford F 350 4x4 5.4L Front Drive Axle
Problem occurs only on tight turns--sounds like front hubs ratcheting- swaped manual locking hubs with 2nd unit(with no symptom)and symptom still present. Disassembled front drive axles down to the differential and have noted nothing unusual..axle u-joints...
