2001 Ford Ranger XL 2.3L Apparent lifter noise
This truck came in with apparent hydraulic lifter noise. I spent a good deal of time pinpointing the source of noise before I dismantled the top end. It was hard to be totally sure, but the noise seemed to be coming from cylinder number one on the intake side....
