Hi FORD PRO'S,

I have an 1998 explorer 4.0L SOHC in the shop - engine with broken timing chain guides...

I have two questions:

1 - Is this engine known to bend valves?

2 - Is it possible to replace all four (4) chains and guides WITHOUT special tools...
