
1997 Ford Mustang 3.8L Poor Idle Quality, MIL Lamp on
3.8 liter Mustang. Repetitively sets P0340. Upon first
visit, MIL illuminated and code stored. Checked CMP signal
with a lab scope and it was "trashy", ie; the square wave
was not square... It stairstepped up at a 45 degree angle.
