1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0L smell
Posted to Ford Driveability on 5/13/2003 7 Replies

Hello

The problem with this Mountaineer is it smells of sulfur. I have been told that this is due to the additives in the gasoline. There is also a TSB on the cat on the newer Mountaineers, but this one is not included. Any suggestions?
