Hi M/B Techs-

Have a diesel with a nasty timing chain noise, blue smoking when cold, intermittent engine knocking and intermittent poor running (drops a cylinder or two). No oil consumption problem.

Motor smokes and runs poorly when cold, runs fine and quits...
